Research
WeAidU was established by Lund University in 1999 to handle the exploitation of research results from a group working with automated analysis of diagnostic images. The close collaboration between the company and researchers at universities as well as university hospitals has been very successful for both parties. Our products are at the cutting edge of information technology and they have been evaluated in relevant clinical settings. The objectives of the research projects are to develop and evaluate clinical decision support systems regarding the interpretation of diagnostic images in patients with cancer, heart disease and dementia. The research results have been presented in several PhD theses, scientific publications, and conference contributions. Some of these are listed in Publications.
